OUR BELIEFS
A church is built of many members united by our common faith. Being able to articulate who we are as a group is a key part of being able to build the unity that God has intended for His church to walk in.

We Believe IN…

the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is composed of God's inspired Word to men and is meant for all generations as a tool for teaching, growing in faith, correction, and as a guide to living a life pleasing to God.

the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in a Triune God, composed of three parts; He is still one.

the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and His virgin birth
We believe that God chose to be born of the virgin Mary in order to fulfill His plan to redeem Mankind and bring us back into relationship with Himself.

the forgiveness of sin through the cross of Christ
We believe that Mankind is fallen through the act of the first man and woman and as such cannot be brought into the presence of a holy and perfect God without atonement for our action. Christ's death on the Cross covered our atonement once and for all and allows us to come back into relationship with God.

the healing of body, mind and soul
We believe that God can and does heal body, mind, and souls from disease, infirmities, addiction, depression, and any other affliction.

salvation by grace through faith
We believe that our salvation is earned through a free gift of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our relationship with God cannot be earned, it comes only as a result of believing in the forgiveness that comes through Jesus shown by admitting our sinful nature, believing in His redemption, and confessing that He is Christ.

the indwelling, guidance and fullness of the Holy Spirit
We believe that when we come to a saving knowledge of Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells inside of us with the ability to help guide us as we live to the glory of God. We believe in a second Baptism in the Holy Spirit evidenced by the speaking of tongues.

the return of Jesus Christ
We believe in the eventual and one-day return of Jesus Christ

HOLY COMMUNION
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements—bread and the fruit of the vine—is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26), and is enjoined on all believers “till He comes!”

BAPTISM
In Romans 6:1-4, the apostle Paul explains the symbolism of Christian baptism — that just as Jesus died and was raised from the dead, we have died to our old way of life and have been raised to a new life as a result of trusting in Jesus.
That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus.
OUR Mission:
Restore Relationships between God and People

We exist to honor God, our Loving Father,
by actively healing and restoring lives
through relationship with God.
OUR Vision:
Replicate Christ
Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost. He did this with a
servants heart, sacrificing Himself for others in obedience to His Father.
Through the power of God’s Spirit we will do the same.
Ephesians 5:1-2; Philippians 2:3-8; Mark 10:45; John 13:1-17; Luke 19:10

Reconcile Relationships
Having been brought back into right relationship with God, our Father,
and given the ministry of reconciliation, we strive to pay it forward.
What God has done for us, He is able to do for others through us. When
we are in right relationship with God we are then able to have healthy
relationships with others.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21; 1 Thessalonians 2:8; 1 John 1:9; Ephesians 4:32
Restore Hope
Our hope is built on Jesus’ blood and His righteousness. In
light of what Christ did for us, and our faith in Him, we have assurance
of a purpose and a future. We will share the hope that is in us with those
around us, spreading hope in a hopeless world.
1 John 5:13-15; 1 Peter 1:3-7; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Reclaim Territory
We have been commissioned to take back territory for the Kingdom
of God: territory in the mind, heart, and community in which He has
planted us. Through the power of God, we will be effective in saving
souls and be found faithful to the great commission.
Matthew 10:16, 16:18-19, 24:14, 28:18-20; Mark 16:17-18; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Core Values:
Christ Redeems All
Jesus died, once and for all, for all mankind. Christ’s sacrifice was the
only thing that could redeem this broken world from it’s fallen
condition. He is sufficient to redeem every circumstance.
Colossians 1:19-20; 1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:12; John 3:16; Romans 10:8-13; John 14:16
Revere God’s Word
God’s word is our standard. Everything in our lives is measured against
the truth of the Bible. We allow the Word of God to change our hearts
and minds and hold us accountable to the highest standard.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; Deuteronomy 6:1-9; 2 Peter 1:21; Psalm 119:11,105

Rely On Holy Spirit
We can do nothing for the kingdom of God on our own strength. We rely
on His Spirit to lead, guide, and direct us in the way we should go and to
accomplish what He has called us to. We are grateful that God did not
leave us to do the work on our own ability.
John 14:26, 15, 16:7; Romans 8:5-6, 11-14, 26-27; Zechariah 4:6; Luke 24:49

Respond in Worship
Because of who God is and all that He has done for us he deserves
our constant worship. Everything we do should glorify God.
Gratitude motivates us.
Psalm 46:4, 100, 107, 145; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Colossians 3:16-17; Romans 12:1-2;
Revelation 4:10-11; John 4:23-24; Acts 2:46-47, Eph. 5:19; Isa 58:6-13
Remain In Prayer
We will constantly stay in communication with God. Fellowship with
Him and connection to Him is our source of life. We are confident in our
right-standing in Christ, which gives us a certainty that when we pray,
God, our Father, hears us and will do as we have asked according to His
promises.
Ephesians 6:18-20; Philippians 4:6-7; Luke 11:2-8; Ephesians 3:12; Hebrews 4:14-16
Refreshed in Fellowship
We are committed to living life with one another. God has designed the
church to work together as one body. We are all part of His family and
will encourage one another in the faith.
Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24-25; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Proverbs 27:17; Galatians 6:2
Reproduce Disciples
We were designed to make disciples of all nations. Multiply! We are
most satisfied in life when we are doing what have been called to do.
The culmination of our discipleship journey is marked by the ability to
disciple others well.
Matthew 28:18-20; Isaiah 58:6-13; John 15, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Isaiah 12:3, Psalm 46
